What's WRONG With Bush?

One of his federal prosecutors created one of the biggest miscarriages of justice ever by giving a drug smuggler they caught IMMUNITY for testifying (lying) about what happened when Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean fired at what they thought was an armed suspect, hitting him in the hindquarters. These good men were convicted and sentenced to ten or more years IN PRISON for doing their jobs! My question is this: "Since when does the word of a known drug smuggler count for more than that of honorable Border Patrol officers? The Fifth Circuit recently told them they'd have to stay in prison and finish their terms, then try and live life as "convicted felons" just because Bush will not pardon them. I can't figure out why. He knows as well as I do that this is a bogus conviction, especially since the drug smuggler they shot has been sentenced to two consecutive prison terms after being caught AGAIN smuggling drugs into the United states. Federal Prosecutor Johnny Sutton should be summarily FIRED and prosecuted for his part in this bogus prosecution and these two men should be given a FULL PARDON so they can get on with their lives WITHOUT the stigma a wrongful conviction would give them so they can get police jobs NOT in the Border Patrol. Why Bush can't figure that out, I don't know. The Border Patrol is having a particularly hard time finding new agents. They're having to spend a lot of money advertising, and they're getting few applicants. Can anybody tell me why? (Washington Times)

Typical Democrat (Liberal) Scam

Divert attention by attacking your favorite enemy, blaming the results of YOUR policies on him. In this case, Obama is diverting attention from the obvious fact that the DEMOCRATS are responsible for the "fuel price crunch" by blaming Vice-President Dick Chaney, who is only interested in SOLVING the problem. Their scheme seems to be that since he is IN the "oil industry," he WANTS oil prices to be high (Only the liberals think "oil people" want oil prices to be high so they can get richer. They'll get richer in any case, so why should they care.). Obama and his accomplices completely ignore the unalterable fact that the primary CAUSES of the problem are the (Democrat-controlled) Congressional ban on domestic drilling, any effort to get rid of is OPPOSED by the Democrats; and the complete LACK of any new oil refineries in this country, CAUSED by the Democrats creating onerous "hoops" people had to jump through to build one, making it almost impossible, and resulting in NO new oil refinery being built in this country in more than THIRTY YEARS. Meanwhile, demand is growing apace, with supply dwindling because of their policies.) They Actually think we don't know this (in fact, most Americans who "don't pay attention to politics" DON'T know this, which is why they generally get away with this scam. I'm really getting tired of repeating this while people who KNOW NOTHING about what's going on keep returning these Democrat (liberal) dolts to office time and again so they can blame the only people who are actually TRYING to solve the problem, while they continue to make it worse. IS Obama a "Practicing Muslim?"

There are many reports that, contrary to his insistence that he is a "practicing Christian," he IS a "practicing Muslim." Know what? I don't care. Muslim or Christian, black or white, he IS a SOCIALIST, and THAT matters to me. I'm not enamored of a Muslim being president, but that alone is not enough to disqualify him, to me. Nor is being at least half black. Granted, Muslims think way differently from us, and their beliefs aren't ours. Their entire lifestyle isn't ours. But being a SOCIALIST is DEFINITELY enough to disqualify him in my book. If you don't understand what a socialist is (and many don't, and they count on that), you need to look it up and see if you want such a person as your president. I don't. A socialist goes by this maxim: "From each according to his ABILITY, and TO each according to his NEED." That makes NEED a DEMAND on your earnings. Do you want the government to take more of your earnings and give it to the "drones" of society? Do you want the government making all your decisions FOR you? Do you want the government controlling you and all your property? My answer to all three questions is a resounding NO! Hillary is also a socialist; so don't even THINK about replacing him with her. What Stupidity is This?

Anybody with ANY amount of intelligence knows that if you cut off supply while demand is rising precipitously, prices will go up, also precipitously. They also know that if prices for motor fuel go up precipitously, prices YOU have to pay for EVERYTHING will go up because everything you buy MUST be shipped, and shippers must pay those high fuel prices and add the cost to what you are required to pay to get your purchases to you, or the store from which you buy them. So ANYBODY who opposes things like "domestic oil drilling," building oil refineries in this country, and nuclear power (which is about as safe as anything if proper procedures are followed). So what's WRONG with Democrats and other liberals who have allowed environmental extremists to cause an almost COMPLETE HALT in oil production in this country, causing HUMANS to be an "endangered species" to "protect" some unknown animal species, forcing us to buy a significant amount of our oil from people who hate us and who work hard to keep prices high. This is (Just common sense)

Putting the Government in Control

Liberals want the "Cap and Trade" laws enacted to put their people "in charge" of everyone. Cap and Trade is deceptively peddled as a free-market solution to the yet-to-be-settled issue of manmade climate change. Under its provisions, companies would be able to emit greenhouse gases only if they had a government allowance." In other words, you CAN pollute as much as you want, as long as you go "hat in hand" and "tugging your forelock" to a "faceless bureaucrat" and PAY for permission. Making It a "Federal Case"

The Federal government is going into the business of eradicating bedbugs, something that has already been almost completely eliminated by the private enterprise need to protect their customers and also themselves from suits. They're going to spend $50 million dollars to interfere in what should be a STATE responsibility. Seems to me there is written somewhere (I can't seem to remember where . . .) that the feds have NO power they aren't specifically GIVEN by the citizens, and I'm sure "bedbug control" isn't on that list. They say it's not a joke. I disagree. I think it is, and I needed a good laugh. (Common Sense)
