Dems Will Never "Get It" About Gun Control

CCRKBA says, "Dems Still Don't Get It About Gun Control," as if they thought they ever would. It isn't IN the Democrats to "Get it" about gun control because their definition of "gun control" is forever wrong. They think LAWS will "keep guns out of the hands of criminals." My question is, "How?" Criminals do not obey laws, so how do they expect a law to do it? That's sheer stupidity! Their basic premise is that a criminal will obey a law that says a criminal can't carry a gun is erroneous. A criminal is a criminal because he DOESN'T OBEY LAWS. So why should he OBEY a law that says he can't be armed? What they're up to is removing guns from the hands of honest people so their thugs won't meet guns when they come to your door to take what's yours. The very reason the Japanese didn't make an attack on our homeland during WWII is because they thought there'd "be a gun behind every bush." Today's enemies, the liberals (collectivists, socialists) think the same thing and want to prevent it. You can call me an "extremist" if you wish for saying this, but if you allow them to take your guns, one day you'll wish you had listened to me. (CCRKBA)

Give 'Em the Power, They'll Abuse It

You'd better watch your facial expressions in the future when going through that "Sovietized" system they've got at airports across the country (and probably throughout the world). They soon will have people there who do NOTHING except look at your face and see if you're disgusted at the treatment you've received. If they, in their "wisdom," decide you ARE, you’re subject to being "punished" for it by being subjected to even more "scrutiny" than before. And the whole system is so SUBJECTIVE that there's no way you can fight it because those who ENFORCE it DECIDE what constitutes "disgust" by looking at the expression on your face. It's one thing to look for people who might fly airplanes into buildings and something quite different to hunt for "looks of disgust" on the faces of people who are undergoing a disgusting time. Seems to me they'd "lighten up" a little bit instead of LOOKING for trouble. (Common Sense)

One Man Showed Up

"What if a political candidate scheduled a campaign appearance and no one showed up? Democratic senatorial hopeful Al Franken came within one person of finding out in St. Cloud, Minn. Only one soul turned out for a 'roundtable' on veterans’ issues Friday at Brigitte’s Café in the city northwest of Minneapolis. Josh John, a St. Cloud resident who said he served in the Navy from 2000 to 2004, had the former 'Saturday Night Live' comedian all to himself for an hour, the St. Cloud Times reported." Maybe If Franken told a few jokes he could "double" the turnout (if someone went outside and grabbed some people). (News Max)

"Marxist Mama" Leads Democrat Convention

Leah Daughtry, "the boss" at the Democrat Convention in Denver is a "Marxist Mama" who believes in "redistribution of (your) wealth" by any means necessary. She also believes fervently in the same "white racism" preached by Rev. Jeremiah Wright and has done her own preaching on the subject. She also believes God "approves" of killing infants in the womb rather than use a rubber. How do such people gain high office in a political party? It's beyond me. What's REALLY odd to me is when Democrats, who have as black WOMAN as CEO of their convention, still can, with a straight face, talk about "racism" in this country. She must be really giggling at the stupidity of Democrats. What REALLY amazes me is when TV "interviewers" interview her, NO ONE ever asks her about her Marxist ties OR her "white racism." (They probably don't even know about it because reporters today do NOT do "in depth" research. (Death by 1000 Paper Cuts) and (Canadian Free Press)

He's a Cartoonist! He Doesn't Need to Stick to the Truth!

That's what someone said one time when Doonesbury was caught falsifying things in order to make a point. He did it again on the 5th of July when he made what was a common sense action by Republicans look like something sinister. Democrats don't want ANYTHING that might stop them from falsifying votes, which is how they've won many elections in the past. The whole idea that requiring picture ID to vote IS common sense, something that is foreign to liberals (Democrats). They want to allow just ANYBODY to vote, citizen or not, as many times as they can, which is only possible if they don't have to identify themselves in a way that is hard to "get past." But Doonesbury agrees with other liberals that ANYBODY ought to be able to vote, ANYWHERE, without having to identify him/herself. He even IDENTIFIED it, having a character call it "eliminating voter fraud," and saying by doing so they could "disenfranchise the poor, the infirm, students, minorities, and anyone who can't be counted on to vote responsibly." Funny; that's what DEMOCRATS do. They learned it in Chicago politics, where they "reign supreme," and where Obama is from. Seems to me if you don't require strict identification of voters, you're heading for an election disaster. The character goes on to say "disenfranchisement works" and points to Florida, saying Republicans can win, even if they lose. Funny; he never mentions Bush won the way the Constitution SAYS he should win--not the way the DEMOCRATS think it should have happened, unless a Democrat is in the same position as was Bush. Then he says they're "change agents." What stupidity! (Doonesbury)

History's First Vegetarian

I don't know what Chad Carpeter's political leanings are yet, but his humor is VERY subtle (usually) and based on (mostly) truth as perceived. I loved his strip on July 7 titled, "History's First Vegetarian." (Tundra)
