Liberal Press Fixated on Conservatives

The national (liberal) press is now leaning heavily on the "fact" that the man who killed two people in a Kentucky church was "motivated" by his "conservative principles" when he went in and started shooting people at random in that church. They don't actually SAY "conservative principles," but they DO "say it by innuendo" when they emphasize that he "didn't like their liberal ideas." Of course, this loser isn't ANY kind of a real conservative. He's a "loser" who was angry because he couldn't seem to find a job. I'd say ANYBODY who can't find a job in this society either isn't looking hard enough, or in the right places, or he has something wrong with him, making him unemployable. I suspect we'll find out it's the latter as we get more and more information. (WBKO)

Petroleum Industry Trying to Destroy the Economy?

How stupid is this? What the hell would the oil industry possibly gain from destroying the economy of one of its biggest markets? This is an example of the "faulty thinking" you see in some of the liberal blogs across the country. If you're "paying attention," you can see through this kind of thing. If you're not, you'll probably "buy" their ranting. (News & Record Blog)

To Destroy the Economy

Cause oil prices to go so high people can no longer afford to drive their cars by BANNING drilling anywhere the United States runs things. Then make building new oil refineries almost impossible by forcing those who wish to build them to "jump through so many hoops" it becomes cost-prohibitive so no new oil refineries will be built in more than thirty years while DEMAND for oil grows apace, forcing us to depend on people who HATE us for a large percentage of our oil. Then offer many different "alternative power sources" such as "wind power" and Ethanol (corn-based gasoline) that, so far, do not work, either effectively OR economically, and won't do so for ten or more years. Then allow the building of HUNDREDS of new ETHANOL refineries to be built by "relaxing" those onerous "hoops" oil producers must "jump through" to build theirs. Soon, ALL prices will be so high that nobody will be able to pay them, the businesses who depend on them to exist will "go under," stop paying the high taxes liberals require, and there will be no more money for the liberals to steal from those who EARN it to give to those who DON'T. Do this, all the while promoting that useless, unworkable (in the long haul) socialist (collectivist) system you've been taught all your life is the best way to go (whether it is or not), in spite of the fact it has FAILED every time it has been tried (in the long haul). This is how you destroy the economy. Evita Peron did it in Argentina and the liberals (mostly led by Hillary and Obama, are trying to do it here. (Just common sense)

"Shocking the Experts" (Again)

Why is it every time the economy gets better it "shocks" the experts? I thought they had their fingers "on the pulse" of the economy. I'm no economist, but I can "read the tea-leaves" and see that the economy, as a whole, is still intact, no matter how often the liberals try and convince us it isn't. Conservative economists such as Walter E. Williams and Thomas Sowell are NOT "shocked" at the direction the economy is taking because they have been trying to tell us about it for a long time; unfortunately, nobody is listening. Zogby: McCain Takes the Lead

The Zogby Poll, which has been right when most others were wrong--says McCain has "surged ahead" of Obama by five points. "Five points!" Not a lot, but he is moving in the right direction. Maybe because people are beginning to realize he's an "empty suit" parroting what his "handlers" have taught him, but without a single good idea of his own. That he is a "dedicated socialist" who wants to take what you have earned and give it to the people who produce nothing, but who have a vote. A man who has NO experience and is "way above his pay grade" in all things presidential; a man who doesn't have a clue on what to do, but "speaks well" when he has a teleprompter and a speechwriter but who can't speak at all without it. I think the possibility of Obama ever being president is receding with every passing day, and every word out of his mouth--unless McCain torpedoes himself by choosing a pro-abortion vice-president.
